As a finishing touch, she makes them dress like her! Now the three are her mindless slaves, willing to die for her is she commands it!

It seems that Dullahan soul tainting happened before these events. Unusually she doesn't take her duties seriously. She collected Celestia's soul, tainted it with new traits and passed it onto an unfortunate girl dressed like her. So the celeste is not the real celeste, but a girl possessed by celeste's tainted soul. The soul tainting also granted some new powers on Celes.
